ARALD BERGHIANU
Non-Executive Chair
If he could retreat from all his commitments, he wouldn't. A born traveller, a connoisseur of tomatoes (didn't expect that, did you?), expert in concise sentences and lengthy phone calls. Speaks French and English. He still thinks the best way to see the country is by bicycle.
OLIVIA BERGHIANU
Executive Director
Works, and works some more. Loves to cook, eats a long unhurried meal, has a vast vocabulary, talks at length on the phone about everything from supplier contracts to philosophy and back. Strict, generous, sharp. The go-to fluent French-speaker for those Paris tours. The reason this place runs.
OVIDIU TUDOR
Incoming Programme Director
Creates, plans, negotiates, executes, coordinates, explains, and clarifies. He's our guru — and our voice — in every national and international commission and association we sit on. Speaks English, French, and Spanish. Age: guru-ripe. Loves reading and tourism — the latter giving him no peace to do much else.
ILEANA RADU
Finance & Controlling Director
Looks after our finances and helps us sleep at night, even when ANAF comes knocking. Doesn't say much — rarely, but well. On the subject of age, all we'll say is: not too this, not too that — just right. Genuinely loves accounting (yes, really). Loves country life and gardening. And she loves Costa Rica.
EIKO ISHIGURO
Area Manager - Japan
Our Japanese conscience — she sifts and checks just about everything we do involving the Land of the Rising Sun. Speaks Japanese, Romanian, and lately a bit of Moldovan too. Age? Secret — GDPR won't let us. Loves working (she's Japanese), playing tennis, and discovering Romania by bicycle.
MIRELA IORDACHE
Area Manager - France and New Markets
Coordinates programmes, replies to every request with calm and precision, and makes sure every detail is exactly right. Speaks French with the natural ease of a Parisian, Romanian and English only when she absolutely has to. Carries experience in her luggage and calm in every situation. Loves conversations with substance, the Romanian landscapes that still manage to surprise her, proper croissants, and tours that end with smiles.
GABRIELA OLARIU
Area Manager - Spain and Portugal
Adi's colleague — contracts and runs programmes for the Spanish market (minus the tidy desk). Speaks Spanish and English. There's a lot one could say about her but she likes to keep her secrets. Isn't that right, Gandalf?
ADRIAN ENE
Sales Director - Spain and Portugal
Keeps his desk in order, and in the breaks between, contracts and runs programmes for the Spanish market. Speaks Spanish and English, and mumbles a bit of Romanian too. Age-wise, the ripest of the lot. Likes chocolate, football, handball, chocolate, football, water polo, football & supporting his favourite team.
ANDA MOISE
Senior Incoming Travel Agent - France and New Markets
What does she do? Stays quiet... and does things... a great deal of them. And what does she speak? Well — She's quiet. Quiet in Romanian, French, and English. Likes? Says she likes what she does and has no time for anything else — but really, once again, she goes quiet and says nothing.
KARLA ANDREI
Incoming Travel Agent - Japan
Another one of our Japanese-souled consciences — but she also escorts groups (Japanese or Romanian) on our circuits. Speaks the bare minimum in Romanian, perfect English, and perfect Japanese. The youngest colleague on the team. Loves order, cherry blossoms, small objects with perfect design, and anything done "by the book."
THEODOR ALECU
Junior Reservations Agent
Handles incoming reservations and juggles hotels, cars, and restaurants daily without dropping a thing. Usually. Speaks Romanian, English, and Spanish with an authentic accent. Age-wise, young and quiet. Loves swimming like a champion, protein shakes, and supplier emails that begin with "Of course we can!"
ANDREI NEAGU
Tour Coordination Manager
Handles networking, public relations, client care, meaning he's a smooth talker, easy company, and occasionally tosses us a good idea when he's around the office. Speaks very good English and Japanese, and indeed Romanian too. Age... we'll call it active — the boss won't let him sit still. Loves family life, but every now and then escapes for the football.
ANDREI BERGHIANU
Strategy Director
Leads, inspires, innovates... and rarely stays still. Just what we needed — another workaholic. Speaks English effortlessly, Japanese as if he grew up there, French with a hint of Paris, plus Italian, and whatever's coming next, because he's got the time to learn it. Age: young and fullll of energy. Likes: reading (strange man, isn't he?), playing umpteen sports, seeing the world, socialising, and... when does he have time for all of that?
RADU RAZVAN
Senior Tour Coordinator
A seasoned tour leader full of humour — walks the world through the world, helps clients avoid trouble, and helps them understand what they're seeing. Speaks English, Spanish, and plenty of Romanian, almost always with a Sean Connery smile on his lips. Age? Risen, ripened, just about ready to serve.
OANA ROTARU
Senior Tour Coordinator
A philo-anthropologist by training and a storyteller by vocation, for over 20 years she has been befriending people through experiences and discoveries, in all corners of the world. She speaks Romanian, Romance languages, English and understands Norwegian surprisingly well. She can turn almost any objective into a memorable story, and when she is not accompanying groups, she writes, paints, photographs and sings in a choir... when does she have time? Between a cake and a hike, she will always choose the hike, but she will tell such a beautiful story about the cake that you will regret not having it.
ADRIAN IAGARU
Guide and Driver
Drives our tourists across Central and Eastern Europe and tells them tall tales (and is officially licensed to do so). Speaks every kind of story, true or invented (that's what a guide does), in two languages. Age... he's risen, now he's baking. He too loves country life, fixes anything that needs fixing, and cooks (and tastes the cooking, rather often...).
VIVIANA DUMITRU
Senior Product Manager
Searches, finds, composes, and works magic — on programmes, partners, collaborators, and clients alike. Runs the operation and still manages to make it home at the end of the day. Speaks good Romanian and good English, honestly. Age? Whatever it needs to be. Questions? Otherwise, she likes to travel, listen to Latin music, and be surrounded by quality people (such as ourselves).
GABRIELA PINTILIE
Senior Product Manager
Makes plans that come out right the first time. Fast, detail-attentive, allergic to unnecessary complications. She'll have your itinerary finalised before you've finished your coffee. Speaks Romanian with humour, fluent English, and carries a healthy dose of knowledge about Eastern cultures. She is at the age where she is full of experience. Loves itineraries that work first time, calm clients, zero complications, cycling in nature, and skiing on fresh snow.
CODRINA NECHITA
Senior Product Manager
For over 20 years, she has been transforming ideas, maps and destinations into well-thought-out travel programs. What does she speak? Romanian and English, both with a discreet Transylvanian accent. Age? Senior product manager, not just a beginner! What does she like? Cars and Formula 1, although she drives much more cautiously than the drivers she admires. Of all the continents, Africa remains her great passion.
MIRELA MATEESCU
Travel Consultant
What does she do? Contracts, client advisory, and topping up colleagues with positive energy +++. What does she speak? She's quiet, very quiet. Not really. Age? None. Likes: Japan, exotic foods and fruit (keeps a durian in the bathroom as a deodorant).
ANDREI RADU
Senior Travel Consultant
Handles mainly ticketing, sales, and client advisory — his phone is genuinely on fire. Speaks English and a great deal of Romanian. Age? Former Junior IV. Likes visiting places, driving, dancing, and having a good time.
ANISIA NEAMȚU
Travel Consultant
Could sell a holiday to someone who just got back from one. A sales specialist (and then some) — she'll convince you with arguments, a smile, and a charm hard to refuse that your next trip absolutely has to be with Exact Travel. Cruises? Give her a little more time and she'll know every deck by heart. Otherwise: analytical, exact, hard-working like a Japanese, and the smile always within reach. She likes us, and we're glad she's on the team.
SERGIU NIȚU
Junior Travel Consultant
He learns quickly, asks a lot and doesn't sit on the sidelines when it comes to work. What does he speak? Romanian, English and, when necessary, the language of military strategies. Age? Beginning of his career. What does he like? Airsoft, drawing, technology, anime culture. He wanted the army, but ended up in tourism. Fortunately… He is open, funny, hardworking and has that rare habit of coming up with initiatives before he is asked.
ALEXANDRA ȘERBANESCU
B2B Manager
She talks a lot, a lot, but just enough to convince us that we are the right choice. What does she speak? Romanian, English and the language of successful partnerships. Age? Only good for ambitious plans. What does she like? Airplanes, especially long-haul flights, and trips that she dreams about with her eyes wide open. She's full of positive energy, enthusiasm and has the talent to turn a discussion into a collaboration.
ALEXANDRA SĂVULESCU
Marketing Manager
She has been living and breathing tourism since 2012. A Tourism graduate, with experiences from the US to Turkey, from hotels to travel agencies, she speaks five languages and could probably negotiate a hotel room even in unknown dialects. Warm, balanced and always full of initiative, she loves traveling and hiking and is the kind of colleague who finds solutions before others notice the problem.
CAMELIA BEREA
Senior Accountant/ Controller
Brings order to disorder — to accounting paperwork, expense claims, and the colleagues who don't bring them in on time. With a whip. Otherwise very pleasant... Speaks a language that bears a passing resemblance to Romanian and is incomprehensible to ordinary mortals... namely, accounting. As for age, she hasn't been fully depreciated yet (to put it in her own language). Loves dogs (she has three), life, and beer (naturally — otherwise she wouldn't have married him), though she claims she has no time for it. Or for him?
