Arrival of the group in Chisinau. Moldavian team (guide and driver) meets the group at the airport.

Transfer from Chisinau International Airport to Chisinau city centre. Chisinau walking tour (for about 3 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant (National cuisine). Continue the walking tour in Chisinau. Transfer from

Chisinau to Milestii Mici. Excursion and wine tasting at Milestii Mici winery (3 types of wine included). Transfer from Milestii Mici to Chisinau.

Check-in at hotel. Dinner at local restaurant (National cuisine). Return to the hotel (the restaurant is 1 minute walking distance to the hotel).

After breakfast, transfer from Chisinau to Tiraspol. Black caviar and champagne tasting at Aquatir Sturgeon Farm, one of the biggest caviar factories in Europe (3 types of caviar included).

Transfer from the farm to the restaurant. Lunch at a local restaurant – BACK TO USSR (Russian cuisine). Transfer from the restaurant to the COGNAC factory. Cognac and chocolate pairing at Kvint Factory (5 types of cognac). Tiraspol city tour (including the Vladimir Lenin monument and the tanks left over from WWII; most of the sites can be seen by walking down the main street, called October 25th Street in honour of the 1917 Great October Socialist Revolution). Tiraspol city tour in vintage Soviet cars (3 pax per car).

Transfer from Tiraspol to Chisinau. Dinner at a local restaurant (European cuisine). Walk (maximum 10 minutes) from the restaurant to the hotel.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and departure to the border with Romania. Meet the Romanian team (guide and driver) in the morning at hotel. Arrival at the border between Rep of Moldavia and

Romania, border formalities and passport control. *The timing is subject to change due to the traffic conditions and the waiting time the group will spend at the border.

Continue to the city of Iasi. Lunch at a local restaurant in Iasi.

*If time allows (depending on the time the group spends at the border), sightseeing tour of Iasi, walk along Stephen the Great Boulevard (photo stop at the Palace of Culture, short visit to Three Hierarchs Church and Metropolitan Cathedral, Town Hall Palace and the National Theatre).

Continue to Suceava (around 2h45-3 h drive) and check-in at hotel. Arrival in Suceava, transfer to the hotel and check-in at hotel. Dinner at hotel restaurant.

After breakfast, drive to Voronet. Visit Voronet Monastery (UNESCO WH site) (entry). Transfer to the village of Vama. Visit the Museum of Painted Egg and enjoy a demonstration of painting Easter eggs (if available). Transfer to the local restaurant for lunch in Campulung Moldovenesc. Lunch at local restaurant. Road to the village of Vatra Moldovitei. Visit Moldovita Monastery (UNESCO WH site). Road to Sucevita village. Visit Sucevita Monastery (UNESCO WH site). Road back to Suceava. Arrival at hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, depart to Neamt Monastery. Visit Neamt Monastery. Transfer to the village of Tarpesti. Visit the Ethnography Museum Nicolae Popa in Tarpesti. Transfer to Targu Neamt for lunch. Lunch at a local

restaurant. Transfer to Lacu Rosu. Bicaz Canyon & gorges are located before Lacu Rosu, a spectacular road along 8 km, but for safety reasons we won’t stop and get off the bus (there were some accidents this year caused by rock slides). The road is full of turns but we count on our professional driver, to slow down a bit if the clients may feel sick. Arrival at Lacu Rosu, free time to stroll on the lake’s shore (if weather

conditions allow). Drive to Sighisoara. Arrival in Sighisoara, check-in at hotel. Dinner at hotel restaurant.

After breakfast, walking tour of Sighisoara citadel (UNESCO WH site) see the Clock Tower (outside only, restauration works for the moment), student staircase, see (exterior) Casa Vlad Dracul- the place where Vlad Dracula was born, Church on the Hill. Departure to the village of Cund, where the truffle hunting will be organized.

Arrival in the forest of Cund where the group will meet the “hunter” and his assistant who will welcome the clients.

*The hunter will adjust this activity depending on the physical condition of the clients (especially for

senior clients).

*After the truffle hunt, drive to the guesthouse around 15 minutes for the lunch based on truffles.

*Please note that this activity is possible only if the weather condition allows (if we face heavy rain,

it’s not recommendable; if it’s a light rain, it’s ok).

*Please note that the clients need comfortable shoes, rain coat (just in case), no other special

equipment needed

Lunch at Valea Verde guesthouse with truffle based menu. Departure to Viscri Village. Arrival in Viscri, enjoy the village, take a ride with a local horse carriage to visit the Church of Viscri (UNESCO WH). Road to Brasov.

After breakfast, walking tour in the old city centre (Council Square, Republicii street, see the Black Church-exterior, see the old fortifications of the city: The White Tower and the Black Tower). Continue to the village of Bran.

Visit Bran castle ● (entry, standard tour) and free time for shopping in the souvenir market close to the castle. On request and with extra costs, the group may have a full guided tour by a local guide/actor dressed as Vlad Dracula, explaining the history and the legend of the place. Included visits to the Exhibition of Medieval Torture instruments and descent with the elevator to the ground area (the Tunnel of Time is called as during the descent there is a display inside the elevator with the historic personalities linked to Bran Castle). Please note it’s not an exclusive visit, exclusive visits are confirmed only outside the visiting hours.

Lunch at a local restaurant in Bran. Transfer to Sinaia. Visit Peles Castle (standard tour). Drive to Bucharest, check-in and diner at a local restaurant.


After breakfast, panoramic city tour of Bucharest including Unirii Square, University Square, Romana Square, Victoria Square, Aviatorilor avenue, the Arch of Triumph.

*Please note that the order of the visits is subject to change depending on the confirmed hour for the tour to the Palace of Parliament. Visit the Village Museum.

Continue the panoramic tour with the Press House, Kiseleff Avenue, Victoria Avenue, stop in the Revolution Square.

Lunch at a local restaurant in the old city centre. Visit the Palace of Parliament (the second largest administrative building in the World after the Pentagon). The entrance is subject to confirmation and can be closed without prior notice (it is a Governmental building). Walking guided tour in the old city centre (Lipscani neighbourhood) and free time to explore on your own. Dinner in a local restaurant.

After breakfast, check-out and departure to the border with Bulgaria. Meet the Bulgarian team (guide and driver) in the morning at Hotel JW Marriott Bucharest. Continue to Bulgaria. Border formalities and drive to Ruse. Free time in the city centre of Ruse to enjoy the beautiful architecture of the so called “little Vienna”. Lunch in a local restaurant in Ruse. Move to Veliko Turnovo. Photo stop at Tsarevets Fortress (without entry). Arrive at hotel. Check-in. Short walk on Samovodska Charshiya Street (situated across the hotel ). Dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Check-out and continue to Plovdiv. Visit to the open-air ethnographic complex Etura. Continue to Kazanluk. Visit to the replica of the Thracian Tomb, UNESCO World Heritag (entry) and the Iskra museum. Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Plovdiv. Arrival in Plovdiv and walking sightseeing tour of the Old town of Plovdiv with entry to the Roman Theatre and the Bishop’s Basilica. Drive to Sofia. Dinner in local restaurant

and check-in at hotel.

Panoramic tour of Sofia with entry to Alexander Nevski Cathedral. See outside only) the ruins of Serdica, St. Sophia Church, the Rotunda of St. George, etc. Departure to Rila Monastery. Lunch in a local restaurant with Trout menu – GORSKI KUT Restaurant. Visit Rila Monastery (entry to main church only) and some free time. Continue to Sofia. Return to the hotel and free time till dinner. Transfer to local restaurant. Farewell dinner in local

restaurant.

After breakfast, check-out. Visit to the National History museum. Visit to the Boyana Church, UNESCO World Heritage). Some easy walk in Vitosha mountains (without steep ascent/descent, for beginners) to enjoy the view. Lunch at local restaurant in Boyana. Return to the city center for 1 hour city tour without entries. Free time till transfer (city’s own exploration, shopping and own evening meal. Transfert at the airport.
